Development in progress
Build in the open
Hashora aims to provide a codebase and process that can be inspected, tested and improved. The first priority is a technically sound node implementation, clear consensus rules and repeatable builds.
Development priorities
- Evaluate a mature Bitcoin-derived codebase rather than inventing consensus cryptography from scratch.
- Document network parameters, block rules, difficulty adjustment and issuance before testnet.
- Keep node RPC private by default and separate public-facing services from signing keys.
- Use automated tests, a public test network and independent security review before mainnet.
- Publish source, release notes, checksums and known limitations as the project matures.
Contributing
Potential contribution areas include C++ development, testing, documentation, wallet usability, mining integration, translations and security review. Official repository links will be published once established.
Repository status: No official source repository or release is linked from this draft.
